Jess Ducey (they/them) is a writer, producer, fundraiser, and aspiring clown. They are co-chair of the board of the National Queer Theater and a member of Moxie Arts’ 2024 Incubator for new work. Jess recently produced queer musicals Antonio! and A Bit Too Much Hair in NYC and at Edinburgh Fringe 2023 for Butch Mermaid Productions. They are also the co-founder of Queer AF, Wellington, NZ’s first festival of queer art. Performance credits include a variety of naked cabaret, comic ballet Sapphic Lake, and the sporadic live direct show. Their writing has appeared on Radio NZ and in Landfall, as well as in Primary Stages’ 2023 Echoes emerging writers cohort. Jess enjoys nature, dinner parties, public transit, books, puppies, cheese, cycling (slowly!), and creating order from chaos.
